GENERAL INFORMATION:
When is Kidz Kamp?
Kidz Kamp is the second week of July. This year the dates are July 8th-12th. Kamp Check-in begins at 3 pm on Monday and we leave around 11 am on Friday.
What are the ages for Kidz Kamp?
Kidz Kamp is designed for 2nd -6th graders. Some of churches only bring 2nd-5th graders though depending on how their children's ministry is structured.
How much does Kidz Kamp cost?
Kidz Kamp cost $350 for each person registered including Kampers, Counselors, and Boogers. This includes their lodging, meals, all Kamp activities, and a Kamp T-shirt (if registered by the deadline). We know that for many families and churches this can seem like a daunting amount. We know many people think "the families in my church can't afford this." Let me let you in on a little secret from the Kamp Staff, neither can most of the families in our churches. That is why our churches have found a variety of ways to help families be able to afford Kidz Kamp. Check out our Paying for Kamp page for tips and resources from our Kamp Staff on how you can do this in your church.
Where is Kidz Kamp?

BOOGERS?
What's a "booger?"
Great question! Camp Boogers are a long standing tradition at our Kidz Kamp. That is our loving name for our high school and young adult leaders who we couldn't do Kamp without. They help lead in worship, assist in Bible Studies, help lead the different activities, interact with the kids, and generally run themselves ragged to help make your kids have the best week possible at Kidz Kamp.
Why are they called "Boogers?"
Apparently years ago in the early days of Kidz Kamp these young leaders put together a skit encouraging proper kamp hygiene in which some of them were referred to as Boogers! The kids (and adult leaders) had so much fun with it the name stuck, and not just for that week but all these years later. Some people over the years have suggested calling them Student Leaders, which they are, but let's face it calling them "Boogers" is just a lot more fun and a very Kidz Kamp thing to do!
Who can be a Booger?
Boogers are generally high school and college aged students. We usually ask that church's only recommend potential Boogers that have completed ninth grade and there is not really an upper age limit on Boogers. We also ask that they be actively involved in their church, serving in a children's ministry setting, and have a recommendation from their church's camp coordinator. More details and expectations can be found on the Booger Application.
