Kidz Kamp was started over 30 years ago by church leaders in the Yuma, Imperial Valley, and San Diego areas. Key leaders from these three Baptist associations came together to arrange for a Children's Camp that their churches and others could bring kids from 2nd through 6th grade to each year to see God a work in their young lives.
For many years the Kamp was held at Pine Valley Conference Center in Pine Valley, CA. Over the last 30 years God blessed the camp by bringing in new leaders as he called the first leaders on to new ministries in their lives, but the mission and goal of the camp never changed. Each group of leaders has carried the torch of planning and running a week long camp giving campers an in-depth experience with God that will impact their lives as they come to know Christ and experience Him.
In 2021, the camp leadership made the difficult but exciting decision to move the camp to Prescott Pines Bible Camp in Prescott, Arizona as the camp goes forward. Our first year holding camp in Prescott was great and we look forward to many more great years in partnership with Prescott Pines.
